It’s a peaceful hostel where you can unwind after a tiring hike or a long trip to Cusco. I had a truly relaxing stay and can highly recommend it. The staff were warm, understanding, and ready to help with all my questions. The building, rooms, and courtyard are beautiful and very clean, and sitting in the sunny courtyard to read or listen to music was lovely. The restaurant was excellent and the food delicious. The kitchen also did the job, though the equipment is a bit old and not high-end. This isn’t a party place, which suited me well.

We spent five days here starting 4 Apr 2026, in a private room with an en-suite bathroom. The staff were fantastic, polite, and very helpful. Claudia was always smiling and ready to assist, and Jairo stayed up all night in case we needed anything. The location is convenient, near the central plaza de armas, supermarkets, and local markets. They offer free city walking tours and a great breakfast. Same-day laundry is very cheap if you drop your clothes off before 9 a.m. We’d happily stay here again.

The hostel was quiet and laid back during the four days I was there. There’s a bar and restaurant upstairs, but it was empty whenever I checked. My private room was clean and came with a space heater, hair dryer, two hand towels, two bath towels, two bars of soap, and two single-use shampoo and conditioner packs. Laundry is charged by weight. My 3 kg took about a day to wash and return. The communal kitchen has two gas stoves, a fridge, and a microwave, plus plates and basic cooking tools. Silverware is limited.

Homam Hostel has such a relaxing feel, with soft classical music playing around the place. It looks like a little castle, almost as if it came straight from Europe, and the atmosphere feels royal and classy. I loved my stay here. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. They even upgraded me to a better room without me asking. I stayed in the female six-bed dorm, the biggest dorm room I’ve ever had since I started traveling. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There’s a gym, a cozy little movie theater, a library, and a huge, beautiful bar. The design feels thoughtful and unique. The Central Plaza is just a few minutes away, with everything else close by too. If you want comfort, good vibes, and a touch of luxury, I’d highly recommend it.

The location is excellent, close to San Pedro market and the center square between the old and new town. The presidential room was large, and good value for the money. The ping pong table was a highlight. But this is a nice place that hasn’t been well maintained, and it needs major updates. The staff are nice, though I got the impression the owners aren’t, since staff constantly said they couldn’t do things because they might get in trouble. There’s no elevator for luggage. I booked because of the gym, but it was in bad shape, with virtually no working equipment. Breakfast is included and the menu looks good, but the food quality wasn’t great and service was very slow.
