Nunu Boutique Hotel

We loved having several nights to enjoy the grounds, from the bonfire and swings to meals and games with our family in the main building. Nunu is a special hotel, with wonderful grounds and delicious, generous dinners. Breakfast also offered plenty of variety. Each casita has its own character, with thoughtful decor and quality that made it a lovely place to recharge after a day out. The hosts were accommodating with our requests, and the night sky was incredible.

Nunu was such a welcome break after a long stretch of travel. The host greeted us promptly and made sure we were settled and well taken care of. I’m sorry, I can’t remember whether his name was Alonzo or Alfonzo! Our spacious, comfortable room had plenty of amenities, and the included meals were excellent. The ingredients were fresh and full of flavor, and some seemed to come straight from the local garden. My fiancée and I joked as we left that we wished we could be whisked here whenever we needed a break from life. Truly a magical place. Thank you! 10/10, A+.

It’s quiet here, with birds chirping and roosters crowing, and the flower-filled grounds are lovely against the mountain peaks. Nunu hotel is a stunning oasis in Lamay, hidden from the main road down a short dirt track that ends at a wooden gate. Our room, "The Explorer" or "El Explorador," was beautifully appointed. Downstairs, there’s a sitting area by the fireplace and two full beds. The loft has a large bed, a dresser, and a small patio looking out over the river behind the property. Fresh-cut flowers were brought into the room when we arrived, and the decor throughout is tasteful and artistic. The owner, Michi, is a delightful, welcoming host, and every detail has been taken care of. Highly recommended!

The owners make wonderful hosts, and breakfast served by them is one of those personal touches that makes the stay feel special. The hotel is cozy and so pretty, with amazing views and a great location. It’s wonderfully quiet for relaxing. Every room has its own theme, decorated with vintage finds from local markets, and everything has been put together with real care and taste.
