Hotel La Molina

The rooms were clean and usable, though a bit worn, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Noise was a problem throughout: the front rooms heard the busy road whether the windows were open or shut, and traffic could still be loud at the back. The walls were thin too, so you could hear activity next door. Hot water was unreliable, so if you needed a shower at the wrong time, it might be cold. There’s no air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that moves warm air around without cooling much. Breakfast is the only meal served. For the few soles it cost, it was fine, but there was little choice and not much food. After the second morning, we switched to one of the many nearby cafes, which was better.
