Apu Mountain Lodge Cusco

The city views were amazing, and the staff were so attentive. Patrick, Karolina and Wilson really went out of their way to make our time in Cusco great. And say hi to Lola, the cute hotel mascot, while you're there. We really enjoyed our stay.

Lola was the cherry on top, but Mr. Wilson and the rest of the staff made the stay. He checked in constantly and took care of every need during our week there. When the water was too cold, he fixed it right away. The rooms were really spacious, always clean, and had a beautiful view. Breakfast and dinner were delicious too. We'll definitely return to this hotel when we're back in Peru.

We loved getting away from the busy, touristy downtown area. Apu Mountain Lodge is a little farther from Cusco's main attractions, but the city is still just a quick 10-minute taxi ride away, and the quieter setting was part of the appeal. Wilson, Carolina, and their son Patrick treated us like family from the moment we arrived. Their care made us feel at home, and we ended up extending our stay. Every dinner was great after a long day of exploring, too. The lodge has great views and heartfelt hospitality. We left feeling it had exceeded all our expectations.

The city views from the windows were amazing, and although finding the hotel can be tricky the first time you travel there, any cab can get you there once you know the area. Our room had lots of space and furniture for storing our belongings, plus a lockbox for valuables. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was well equipped. The staff were friendly, helpful, and understanding when my group ran into trouble. I appreciated that a lot. I'm sure the hotel will keep improving, and I'll come back next time I'm in the city.
