Getting there from the Plaza de Armas on foot means climbing a lot of stairs, which was my one real complaint. The lobby also only opens during certain hours, so contact the hotel ahead if you'll arrive late. Inside, our stay was pleasant: the place was clean and quiet, breakfast had lots of tasty choices, and the staff were kind and helpful. There's a restaurant and bar just outside the lobby, too. We thought the pizza was the best we'd had outside Italy, and it was so convenient.

We had to head out early, and the staff packed us breakfast to take along and kept our bags securely until we came back. They were really friendly and helpful throughout. Our room was nice, with a big comfortable bed. I'd happily stay here again next time I'm in Cusco. Thanks, guys.

After finishing the Inca Trail, we stayed at Hotel Arqueologo and found it full of character, with inviting décor and a distinct feel. The location made it easy to walk to good places to eat, and the staff were consistently warm and helpful. Our split-level room was roomy and comfortable, a good place to unwind. The bathroom needs a better setup. With no shower door or curtain, water often spread across the floor and sometimes into the living area. The tiles got slippery enough to be a safety concern. Extra towels helped, but a lasting fix would improve the stay.

We started our honeymoon here and were so glad we chose it. Our flight was delayed by five hours, but the hotel still arranged a free airport pickup with a lovely driver. The staff were warm and friendly the whole time. The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with a loft layout we loved and a nice view. The courtyard was gorgeous and a lovely place to sit. Breakfast was delicious, and the cute, quiet dining area had an incredible view. The location was also fantastic, in a fun part of the city where you can walk around easily. Outstanding experience.

The loud “fashion party” at the hotel has made it impossible to relax in our room or enjoy the facilities. Our five-year-old couldn't fall asleep, and the music was set to continue two and a half hours past his bedtime. We weren't told about the event when booking. When someone mentioned it today, they described it as fun and exciting. Maybe it is for some guests, but families and others looking for rest seem to come second. We have liked our room and the well-kept, comfortable facilities otherwise. Breakfast is decent, though a few fresh choices such as avocado or vegetables would balance the bread, jam, eggs, and cheese better. When a hotel hosts events that disturb paying guests, it sends a clear message about their priority. They need to decide whether they're a hotel or an event venue. Trying to be both without clear communication and consideration undermines their credibility.
