Ayenda Posada Inn

It was cheap, but no gem, and I left early for another hotel. The place is very loud because of the layout and echo. Hot water and Wi-Fi were both unreliable. Staff were often away from the front desk, so getting my key could take a while. Eventually I started going behind the desk to get it myself. Breakfast items often ran out, and no one was quick to refill things like the coffee pot. Trust me, I didn’t like this place. It wasn’t worth the time or money, so book somewhere else.

We’d paid for three days, but before we arrived, the man running the place had sold our rooms to someone else. He put us in the hotel next door and then caused problems when it came to paying for our last day. He didn’t want to cover it, even though we’d been told that day would be covered since he couldn’t accommodate us.

I love the style here. It feels different from an ordinary stay in Peru, but it was still comfortable, with lots of places to visit during the day and at night. The accommodation was beautiful and relaxing, and I’d love to come back someday.

The location is excellent. The rooms weren’t very clean, unfortunately. Breakfast was included and was okay.
