The room was clean and spacious, and we felt safe with the main door kept locked all the time. It’s around a 10-minute walk from the historic plaza, which I liked because it was away from the tourist area. Breakfast was included, basic but satisfying. Great price and friendly service, and I’d recommend it if you’re looking for a more local feel.

The location isn’t central, but you can walk to the city center. Staff were really friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and modern. Breakfast was simple but fine, the WiFi worked well, and they offered free coca tee and laundry service. I’d definitely suggest staying here when visiting Cuzco.

We arrived without warning at 5:30am because our overnight bus got in early, and they let us sleep in an unused room until noon. They also stored our luggage for free during our day trip to Macchu Picchu. The place itself was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a large kitchen, a generous breakfast, and friendly staff who were happy to help.

We booked two double rooms listed as 22m2, but the rooms we got were tiny, barely 12m2. When we complained at reception, they rather arrogantly asked what we expected for $20. We expected the rooms we had booked. It seemed like they were misleading customers about the size, so we left and stayed somewhere else.

I paid about 20 USD a night for a single room for three nights. It was impressively large, with a private bathroom, cable TV, and WiFi in the room, though the signal was understandably weak. Breakfast was included, and they could bring it to the room. The two girls running the place were super friendly, gave me recommendations and information about Cuzco, and even called a cab to take me to the airport. There are only two staff, so getting back into the hostal at night could take a while if they were both away or asleep. Bring earplugs: the walls are thin, some rooms are near a family residence, and nearby construction meant hammering at times during the day. For the price and service, I’d highly recommend it.
