A quiet little retreat in the middle of this lovely, horn-happy city. We stayed with Julio and Felicitad for more than a week and had a great time. Our room overlooked a small sunny courtyard, and it was quiet, nicely decorated, and had comfortable beds and a hot shower. The hosts are adorable, always attentive and ready to help. We'd go back with our eyes closed. Thanks for everything! 😍

Plaza de Armas is just a 5-10 minute walk away, and the price for what you get in Cusco is the best. There isn't a heater, but with all those warm blankets, we never felt cold. We had three very relaxed nights in this authentic, cosy place. The owners were so kind, and the atmosphere felt like home. Our room and bathroom were spotless, and they made the bed and emptied the bins every day, just like hotel service. Breakfast in their lovely old kitchen was tasty: bread, jam, butter, fresh eggs and juice, plus coffee and tea.

The room was spacious and clean, with a hot shower, and the owner cleaned it every day while we were out. The owners were so nice and tried to help even when you don't speak Spanish. We had two lovely nights here and it felt like home, which made it really pleasant, even if it costs a bit more than other places. Breakfast isn't included, but it's worth paying for: eggs, homemade smoothie, bread, and coffee. You can also use the kitchen to cook at night.

The family running the place is lovely, always smiling, and so helpful. They arranged a local taxi to the airport that cost less than Uber, served us breakfast with fresh orange juice and bread, and even brought it at 6am once. They kept our bag while we were at Machu Picchu, and changed our towels too, which we hadn't expected. The room was big, cosy, spotless, and had plenty of room for our things. The shower was powerful and the hottest we'd had two months into our four-month trip, a real treat on cold Cusco nights. There's also a space heater in the room. It's close to the center but quiet enough for great sleep. My husband and I loved staying here, and we'd come back if we can. Thank you Killipata family!

The place had good reviews on booking and Google Maps, but when we arrived it was a dump. There was moss on the walls and a terrible musty smell. We left almost right away and had to find rooms elsewhere at the last minute. Be aware!
