October 25, 2021 | I stayed one night and picked a single room with a private bathroom for 50 soles. It was roomy, with a double bed, a 50-inch TV, wardrobe, table and nightstand, plus hot and cold water. A single room with a shared bathroom costs 35 soles. The hostal is in an industrial area, surrounded by big auto repair shops and hardware stores, with trucks loading and unloading nearby. Trailers park close too. My window faced the street, but it was quiet at night and I slept peacefully. The sign says “Hostal Don Víctor,” which I assume was the place’s old name.
