For the price, the value is good. The location is decent, though not excellent, and the terrace has a nice view. My room was clean and had the basics. The staff were VERY friendly and attentive, but none of them spoke even a single word of English. Breakfast could use some improvement.

A lovely family atmosphere, comfortable beds, and great views. It's close to the main square too. Amazing value for your money!

We spent six nights here, four before the Salkantay trek and two afterward, and had an amazing time with this super friendly family. Breakfast came with the stay and was well worth it, the best we had in Peru 🇵🇪. Check Mawen Travel on TikTok too.

We booked two rooms, but one stayed unused and we were still charged for it. On top of that, the place cost more than it deserved. The room was freezing at night, and staff never fixed it even after we adjusted the thermostat and asked for help. We found a palm-sized insect in one room, which alarmed us and made us question the hygiene. Cleanliness and upkeep were poor, the rooms were unkempt, and the overall environment left us uncomfortable. What we found did not match the booking photos or description. Communication was also nearly impossible because the front desk staff had little or no English, so we struggled to get information or resolve problems. With the neglected conditions, language barrier, cold room, insect, and charge for the unused room, this was a nightmare stay for my companions and me.
