The bed was big and so comfortable, and the room was spacious, clean, and bright with sunlight during the day. Daylu Hotel in Cusco had a welcoming feel, and the area around it was lovely. I had a wonderful stay.

I was happy with the service last year and liked the comfortable bedding, but my second stay was a very different experience. At 8:50 in the morning, the woman on duty refused to make a simple scrambled egg breakfast. She said only bread, ham, tea, and an artificial fruit punch were included, even though the night before I’d been told eggs were included. The stay itself was pleasant, but after that service I wouldn’t recommend it to friends anymore.

I had to find somewhere to sleep at short notice, and this place worked well. The proprietor was friendly and helpful after I got sick in Cusco, and I could even watch Netflix while recovering. The clean, comfortable room had a wonderful tall shower with very hot water. It’s away from the tourists around the central square, but still a short walk or taxi ride away.
