Ayenda Inkas Tarabamba

Breakfast was a joke: only bread, cheese slices, ham, grapes, and cereal, with no hot options, not even eggs. There wasn't cold milk for the cereal, and the coffee still had grounds in it. The rooms were freezing with no heating, and the thin walls let us hear people coming and going and slamming doors all night. One night, a staff member woke us by knocking on someone else's door and speaking loudly in the middle of the night. They should have called the room instead at that hour. We had to move rooms for our last day. The bathroom wall there had a big hole through to the next bathroom, so we covered it with a pillow. In both rooms the shower doors were loose, came off their hinges a couple of times, and leaked water onto the bathroom floor. Once the bathroom handle fell off while I was inside, and we had to fix it. On arrival, they put us in a room with a missing bathroom window, then moved us as soon as we showed the staff. It's completely unacceptable that they thought that room was okay to give us. We didn't enjoy our stay at all. This is not a three star hotel.

The rooms are spacious and cleaned daily. Service was good, and the breakfast was basic but good.
