I had a three-twin-bedroom with a private bathroom and was very happy with it. The hostel was among the cleanest and quietest I've stayed in. There's no heat in the room, but it stayed much warmer than any other hostel I tried in Cusco. It'd be a good choice if you're with a few people and can split the cost. Probably not ideal if you want a very social place, but great if you want a comfortable home in Cusco.

The owner was really rude, and we were made to leave before checkout so they could make room for someone else. They refused to refund us. There was no hot water all night, even after I asked for it to be turned on, and I had to ask for soap. I speak Spanish, but it would've been convenient to have someone around who spoke some English.

The rooms weren't very clean, and the water gets shut off at night. The hotel is about eight blocks from the main square, so for this price you could find somewhere closer. The man starts out acting friendly, then turns quite rude. He doesn't have set rates, he looks at you and seems to decide the price based on your appearance. I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

Mr. Antonio was attentive and friendly, recommending tours and arranging transport when we needed it. We loved the hostel when we recently visited Cusco, and the rooms looked just like the photos. The water shortage affects the whole city, not only this hostel, so it's best to shower before 11 pm. The bathroom still works normally because they run the water pump.
