The calm little garden really won me over. Inside, the place feels like a peaceful retreat, with flowers along the paths and thoughtful decorations throughout the waiting area, dining room, guest rooms, and tidy cottages. The staff were friendly, too. Booking was easy by email: tell the office your dates and they’ll hold a reservation. Payment is on arrival in USD or soles, at a fair price. If you get there early, they can check you in if a room is available. I later found out the neighboring courtyard is also run as an Airbnb, so there’s a flexible option depending on what you need. A clean, cozy, comfortable place to unwind while visiting Cusco.

You step through a small doorway and find a lovely little village inside, with flower pots and traditional decorations. My family and I had a great stay, and the staff were all helpful and warm. Kevin and Edu especially made things more enjoyable.

We made Llippimpac our base for two and a half weeks in Cusco and the surrounding area, coming back after each outing. It was always a welcome place to return to after a day of travel or trekking, and they kept our luggage safely and free of charge between trips. The location is great, about a 30-second walk from Qorikancha, and the lovely inner courtyard keeps the hotel quiet and pleasantly removed from city noise. Our room had tasteful rustic decor. Emanuel and his colleague at reception were especially kind and helpful, and the hotel was quick to respond warmly on WhatsApp. A few things could be better: the rooms don’t block much light, so sleeping in after sunrise was difficult on days without an early tour. The shower pressure was low, the room could feel cold at night, and breakfast was tasty but the same each day, so more variety would help.

*chef’s kiss* Such a stunning place, and a great spot to stay while adjusting to the elevation. There are loads of highly rated restaurants and convenience stores just a short walk away, handy for that first day of altitude shock. Just me?
