After checking out, I was able to leave my suitcase somewhere safe, then spend a while in the sunny sitting area and nicely decorated living room. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was spacious and good value, with breakfast included. It's a perfect spot, only a five-minute walk from the main square.

I've stayed here twice while in Cusco. It's still an easy walk to town, though far enough from the centre's bustle to feel calmer. The staff are really friendly and helpful, and the closed front door made the place feel safe. Breakfast is basic but decent for the price. There are plenty of good places to eat in Cusco if you want something different.

The courtyard is a cute little touch, and it's quiet at night, which I loved. The old town is an easy walk away. Rooms are good, showers are great, breakfast is decent, and the staff are lovely. I'd definitely come back.

It's about three blocks from the main plaza, though getting there means a bit of a climb. With the altitude, some people might get short of breath. The hostel has a rustic, nostalgic feel and the service was lovely, from the front desk through to the dining area. Nightclubs and pubs nearby weren't a noise problem, though buses could be heard in the morning. My bed was comfortable, and the blanket kept out the cold on a night when it was 4 degrees Celsius. Hot showers were available the whole time. The toilet flush wasn't strong, so be careful. For what I paid, the stay was worth it.
