We were there for five nights, and the staff were the best part. Everyone was warm and helpful, and one person marked places to see on a map for us. They also held our bags for three nights while we did the salkantay trek. The main square and a supermarket are both very close, which was useful, and having free coca tea at reception helped during our first few days. The rooms are simple but comfortable, and the bathrooms have good equipment.

The decor gives the place a really nice feel. Our room was dark enough to sleep well, as long as you can tune out other guests talking and making noise around 6-7am. The shower was only lukewarm on day two, which was annoying. They let us use the kitchen, though they seemed a little reluctant before 1pm since it's meant to open at 1pm. We tried to book again for our return to Cusco, but it was full. Pretty good stay overall.

The hotel was clean and looked after, and we loved the cozy, family-like atmosphere. My wife and I felt welcome from the minute we arrived because the staff were so kind. For what we paid, the value was outstanding, and we left already thinking about coming back. If you want an affordable, welcoming place, I'd book it.

The courtyard was lovely, with the intoxicating scent of Angel’s Trumpets drifting through it, and the hotel felt peaceful during the day. The building itself is beautiful and rustic, and the staff were wonderfully friendly. But at night the booming bass from party music came through every wall until 6am, every night of the week. We barely slept. That was especially rough when our tours meant getting up at 4am for Machu Pichu, and it really spoiled our Peru/Machu Pichu trip. The stay felt like a waste of our time and money.

The rooms were good and the place looks nice, with hot showers and electricity. Laundry, though, costs a crazy 75 soles per kg. They don't organize any activities.
