Terrazas del Inca Cusco

I'm deeply disappointed and angry with Hotel TERRAZAS DEL INCA. My family and I were left without confirmed accommodation in an unfamiliar city after the hotel cancelled my booking, which I'd made well in advance, without warning, an explanation or any solution. I was stranded with nowhere available at the time, and it caused us a lot of trouble. If you're thinking of staying at Hotel TERRAZAS DEL INCA, I'd strongly suggest reconsidering and finding a place you can rely on to treat its customers respectfully. Don't risk going through what I did. Thanks.

I had a terrible time with the young man on duty. I reached Cusco at 11 pm after a very long trip, and he said that if I didn't like the extra charge, I could leave and find somewhere else. Booking.com had quoted one price, but the amount they demanded was almost $27 higher. His exact words were, "My boss says if you don't like it, you can leave." He was rude, and I didn't like how he treated me. I definitely don't recommend them. To clarify their false response, I did NOT pay by card. I paid in cash. I didn't threaten anyone. I was more afraid of having to go out in the middle of the night to find somewhere to stay. I'd messaged them to say I'd arrive at that time, and they replied that they'd wait for me. They could have simply told me they couldn't. When I asked why the price had gone up, the young man couldn't explain it properly. They lie about the rates. TERRIBLE SERVICE.

The room had no heating and was very cold and unhygienic. The facilities were poor.

There was no water at night, and the hotel is in bad shape.
