Wayras Iii Inn Cusco

My husband and I stayed here in June of 2025. The staff treated us very well, and it worked out since we spent most days sightseeing and only came back late. It’s about a 15-minute walk from Plaza de Armas. We didn’t feel unsafe walking at night, so we saved quite a bit on Uber. There were also lots of pharmacies nearby, restaurants with lower prices than downtown, and markets where we bought plenty of water. There’s no breakfast, which seemed odd because Hoteis.com said it was included, Google has breakfast photos, and there was a sign at the hotel with breakfast hours. Maybe those photos are for the Wayras hotel across the street, which could be confusing. The rooms are very simple but clean, with a wardrobe, small table, TV, and hot water. It’s gas heated, so you have to wait 5 minutes. The hotel is right on a busy avenue corner, so traffic noise may bother you. Peruvians have a terrible habit of honking for no reason, though it didn’t go on past about 22:00. One thing that really irritated me was the motion sensor device the receptionists used. It played a little Christmas tune and could go off at any time, so it woke me up a few times in the night. For such a basic place, I don’t think it’s worth the price, but I don’t have much else to complain about.
