XO Art House

Each room had its own look, the breakfast was really nice, and the staff were helpful. Beautiful hotel, close to the city center.

The staff made this stay unforgettable. When my husband became seriously ill, they gave him oxygen, found us a good health clinic, and kept checking on us afterward. They treated us like family, not guests. We’ll come back to The XO Art House when we’re in Cusco again; I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else. The rooms are thoughtfully equipped, even with cooking facilities and complimentary water and hot and cold drinks. Breakfast also had a nice variety, with fresh fruit and juice each day.

We spent two nights here and found the atmosphere calm and intimate. They put on relaxing music in the shared space in the evenings, and tea and coffee were provided each day. The staff were attentive, and breakfast was good. A lovely, peaceful place to stay.

The helpful staff and convenient spot near the main square were definite positives, and the little boutique hotel itself is lovely. I did find that the artwork sometimes takes priority over practical details. The bathroom tiles can be slippery, so you have to be careful, and the shower temperature wasn’t always consistent. Still, more good points than drawbacks.
