We got to the hotel early after our bus trip, and our room was ready, so the staff let us check in at no extra charge. They also made us a packed lunch for our excursion the next morning and kept our bags before 5 AM. Later, while we waited for our bus after the Laguna 69 trip, they let us rest in the lobby. The manager was attentive and kind, and even drove us to the bus station for our night bus. The views, food, and service make the value hard to beat. We hope to stay here again when we return to Huaraz, and I'd recommend it to anyone visiting.

Willy, the manager, really went out of his way to make our stay and tours go smoothly. We first came on a friend's recommendation and stayed several nights between tours. The hotel felt like home before long: the team was lovely, it was peaceful and clean, and the views were stunning. We'd happily come back and recommend staying here.

The beds were so comfortable, with thick fluffy duvets, and heaters in the rooms if you get cold. Our room had beautiful mountain views, and there was no traffic noise. It's a little farther from the centre than some places, but a taxi is around 6-8 soles if you're tired after hiking. We stayed nearly two weeks, except for a break to do the Santa Cruz trek, and hated having to leave. Breakfast was generous and changed every day, with fruit, waffles, and eggs prepared in different ways. The restaurant was handy for dinner when we were too tired to go out, and the pasta and pizza were great for loading up on carbs. The cozy fire in the evenings was lovely too. Willy, Daniéla, Gurby (sorry if misspelling), and everyone on the cleaning and breakfast team were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is a bit out of the way, about a 15-minute walk from the plaza, but I wouldn't let that stop you. The rooms are clean and very spacious, and some have amazing mountain views. Breakfast was great, and you can always ask for coca tea. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Willy was particularly good at sharing ideas for things to do in and around the city. It's a luxurious place to stay.

We used this hotel before and after our Huayhuash trek, and they looked after our luggage for six days. The front desk staff were really nice and accommodating. It was a cozy, comfortable stay in Huaraz. Highly recommend.
