The hostel is nice, with good facilities: hot showers, clean sheets, and decent Wi-Fi. The staff can sort things out, even a taxi to the bus station. It’s some distance from the center, though, and walking back at night isn’t pleasant. They also run tours. I’d stick to the one-day treks, since for the more involved ones they use other agencies, and sometimes what you get differs a lot from what was promised.

There was no hot water, and the treks felt like a sham. They lied and made things up, and wouldn’t provide service unless you complained or pushed back. Even then, it was still questionable. You’re better off booking through exploration groups, because this place just takes your money and books through them anyway.

The woman at the front desk was always so friendly and nice. They arranged a tour and a bus to Lima for us, and the breakfast coffee was really good.
