Desert Nights Hostel

The pool was nice and the receptionists were friendly. It was good value, too. The mosquitoes were annoying as heck, though, and the water pressure was really low, which I can understand at a hostel.

The place felt modern but still fit its surroundings, and the rooms were nice. The shared bathroom was clean, though the shower didn't work properly. They kindly offer a drink as a gratuity for the bar. The one thing I'd change is the upper indoor window: the lights aren't turned off, so light comes through the room all night.

The owner had such great taste in music and was really passionate and enthusiastic. Loved this campground.

I was here for two nights in November 2024. The staff were friendly, and I stayed in a shared dorm with lockers and a key provided. There's a kitchen on the terrace for everyone to use, and the shower had warm water. I was pleasantly surprised that using the swimming pool across from the hostel was included. At the time, it was the best hostel price in Huacachina for a pool and kitchen. The downsides were cameras installed everywhere, and sometimes the restaurant music was disturbing.
