The biggest issue for me was the neighborhood. It felt neglected and disorganized, and I felt unsafe there at night. I had planned to stay three days, but after paying for a day and a half, I left early because the area felt so run-down. They only take cash and wouldn't refund what I'd paid, saying I had to pay through checkout. There was no sign telling guests that refunds weren't offered. The rooms themselves were reasonably priced for a local guesthouse.

After a long day of tours, this is a nice place to relax. My mom and I stayed in an 80 soles per night room, with a smart TV and a super comfortable bed. Double rooms cost between 50 and 80 soles, and I assume the bed and TV comfort depends on which one you choose. Room cleaning happens on the second day, and payment is cash only. We asked for an extra towel. They offer tours at the hotel, and we had no problems with ours, though it's a good idea to have them explain what's included. When I checked out, I asked for a receipt and was told they'd send it. I've called, and they're still working on it. Everything else was great. Hope you enjoy your stay in Ica!

The rooms were neat and clean, and the service was great. Our room was on the fifth floor, and even with the fan running constantly, the heat made it hard to sleep. Better ventilation on that floor would help. Otherwise, everything was great 👌🏻
