Hotel Piedra Blanca

The customer service staff were awful and didn’t know how to treat guests. The rooms advertised with jacuzzis don’t have all the needed features, and felt more like bathtubs. For what you get, the price is exorbitant.

I arrived at 8 on Sunday night and couldn’t get in. I rang the bell, knocked, and called both phone numbers, but nobody responded. After 45 minutes, people downstairs let me inside, and I noticed my room key sitting on the counter. When I checked out the next day, there was no one there either. They don’t offer room service, and the service is terrible.

The mattress was very comfortable, and the staff were attentive and friendly. The location is in a quiet area, just five minutes from the port. Breakfast comes with the stay, though it’s a little basic, with coffee from a machine. I could pay by card without a surcharge. The room disappointed me: the table was small, high, and unusable. Hot water was barely lukewarm, and some rooms don’t get Wi-Fi. Cleanliness could be better too, as I found hairs. There’s a pleasant bar and terrace on the fifth floor with a view, but the drink selection is limited, and the music bothered me in my fourth-floor room. If they sorted out the hot water, Wi-Fi, and cleaning details, I’d give it five stars.

I stayed with my family and loved it. The room wasn’t huge, but it worked perfectly, and everything was spotless and new. The mattresses were incredibly comfortable, and the towels and bathroom were top-notch. We had hot water all day in winter, first-rate service, and an excellent breakfast. It’s close to Plaza de Armas and Avenida 28 de Julio, where there’s plenty to find, and only two blocks from the Flores bus terminal. Many thanks to all the staff. I’ll come back whenever I can.
