I ended up looking for another hotel at 1 a.m., basically getting out of this place. It was the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever intended to stay in, worse than any camping place. There was mold everywhere, cobwebs, dirty, broken, smelly furniture, and cockroaches. The photos looked like they were from ten years ago or another universe. I’m not exaggerating. Avoid it at all costs.

After four days sleeping in a hammock on a barge deck, this place felt like heaven. Its spot between Plaza de las Armas and Mercado Belen gives you a real sense of everyday city life in the heart of the Amazon.

The rooms are nice. They serve snakes for breakfast at the buffet.

The room was clean and had A/C, and the bathroom was nice. The people were helpful and friendly.

Great place, even though it’s out of town.
