The rooms are beautiful.

The shower could use a more thorough clean, especially the curtains, and breakfast is included but pretty basic and could be better. The facilities are otherwise adequate, and the air conditioning works well.

Avoid this place. We felt cheated when the owner got us to pay more than expected, then tried to charge us in dollars instead of local currency using an exchange rate he had made up. We’d already paid for breakfast, but they refused to give it to us. The facilities were awful too: the beds felt like torture devices, the rooms seemed from last century, and the shower overflowed like a swamp. We found bedbugs in the mattresses. I would never return. Fellow travelers, stay away.

A convenient spot for a rest after a few days in the jungle, just half a block from the main square. Rooms face interior courtyards, so outside noise doesn’t get in. They’re spacious and have private bathrooms, hot water, and air conditioning.
