It has a relaxed homestay feel, with good service and not many people around. Breakfast is good, and they’ll wash laundry for 3.5 soles per kilo. There’s a small sitting pool and a bar. My room had comfortable beds, TV and air conditioning, with old-fashioned decor and a nice finish.

The hotel is a bit hard to find, but it’s nice, with a small pool and great staff who are always helpful and hassle-free. Rooms are clean, and hot water is available on demand. WiFi can be slow sometimes, but that’s Iquitos. Food and activities are within five minutes or less, including little restaurants on the same street if you dare, lol. Small shops are a short walk away, and about two blocks away there’s a market with their version of fast food. Breakfast costs under 5 soles, about $1.50 USD.

I stay here for at least a week whenever I come. It’s quiet, the staff are friendly, and the pool is nice. Good price for a large room, and the air conditioning gets cold.

The room was the best part for me. It was well laid out and had what a traveler might need, including a fridge, AC, kettle and hairdryer. The facilities were clean, quiet and organized. The location is a downside since it’s a few minutes from downtown Iquitos, though buses pass very close by. Service was somewhere in the middle, and the pool looked dirty, so I didn’t use it.
