The service is super friendly, and it’s excellent value. Just a few blocks from the main square, the hotel has average-sized rooms with a large bed, desk, and private bathroom. Wi-Fi and air conditioning are available.

Mrs. Linda, the manager and owner, pays attention to the details that make a stay pleasant. She explains how to use local transport and avoid being scammed by motorcycle taxi drivers, and suggests good places to visit and eat. The rooms are cleaned and tidied daily, with fresh towels. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a flat-screen TV, a minibar that’s very useful in the city’s heat, and air conditioning in excellent condition. It’s a quiet area about a 10-minute walk from the central plaza, with plenty of nearby restaurants offering different dishes. The price more than justifies the service. At first, based on the facade and the look of a small hotel, I didn’t find it very appealing when it was recommended to me. Once I arrived in Iquitos, I was delighted. Highly recommend it for a visit.
