The room had been nicely refurbished, and the location near the sea was good for the price. Breakfast was the worst I had during my whole stay in Peru. Limiting each guest to one cup of coffee felt petty, and even cheaper hostels serve better breakfasts. The place was noisy and dusty, with both guests and workers remodeling the hotel.

I booked one night to rest before 24 hours of flying, but there was no hot water at any time, day or night. When I asked for a refund, they told me to follow up with Agoda. A month has passed, and the hotel still hasn’t responded to Agoda’s requests or to me directly. It seems they never intended to.

Reception staff were friendly and accommodating, but the breakfast staff weren’t. Breakfast felt like being in prison: you get 75 minutes, everything is rationed, and you collect and return your own tray. You’re allowed one butter pack, one cup of coffee, and so on. I booked through Agoda, whose listing was misleading as usual. It calls this a 4-star hotel, but it’s really a 2-star hostal. Still, if you want a comfortable, inexpensive stay in Lima’s Miraflores, it’s a very good option.

The hotel is right by the sea in a secure neighborhood, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. I felt right at home and loved staying here. For the price, I don’t think you’ll find better value or cleanliness in Miraflores. Highly recommend! ⭐🌊
