Cleaning wasn't very good, and the staff struggled with English. The location isn't Lima's best either. If you're walking around, I wouldn't go too far from the city center, since there's less police presence farther out. Miraflores is a better area for tourists.

It's a fairly cheap place, but it wasn't very clean, tidy, or quiet.

The room smelled strongly of damp, and the hotel feels older while charging more. I paid for a double room but got a single one. They said the rate was because of my check-in time. There was no cable TV or Wi-Fi, and even the phone to reception was out of order. When I went to look for another hotel, the building's elevator had been switched off.

The TV didn't work, and the bathtub and fan looked ancient. We also had no Wi-Fi, so I'm writing this from another hostel. From the rude welcome at reception to the awful damp, old smell in the room, the whole stay was terrible. A real pigsty.
