We only paid to store our luggage, which also let us use the shared spaces, rather than booking a whole room. After our red-eye flight to Lima, it was a relief to find somewhere at the last minute where we could rest and recharge during the day. It was our first visit, and a marathon running right through Miraflores made things harder. Most hotels wouldn't let us check in until 2PM or 3PM, many hours later. Ney at the front desk could see we were struggling and was a huge help. We didn't receive the usual hotel service, but what Dragonfly offered got us through a pretty desperate situation. It's a comfortable last-minute base when you're somewhere unfamiliar.

The hot water and water pressure are both good. Breakfast is included, though there's no milk or fruit. It's an affordable place to stay in Miraflores. The Wi-Fi doesn't work in the guest rooms or up on the rooftop.

The location is great and feels very safe. The staff were warm and mixed up some nice drinks. I also really liked the rooftop space and the table tennis table.

The hostel is very clean and in a great spot. I stayed a few nights, but was disappointed to be charged for having a visitor for a few hours. Nobody told me ahead of time that there would be a fee.

The ground-floor common area is good, and there's a basic rooftop plus a small terrace. It's quiet, with no street noise, since the hostel sits within a plaza, and it isn't a party place. The location isn't the prettiest area, but you can walk to everything in a few minutes. I liked having a washroom and shower in the room instead of going to a shared one. The lockers are pretty small, and room doors aren't locked, which feels less secure than I'd like, even if it is convenient not to need a key. It's a standard hostel in a good way, with no major downsides. Really nice.
