The bed was incredibly hard, and the two-person bed barely fit one. The rooms are old and unimpressive, with damaged floors, and there’s not much nearby, so expect to be bored. At check-in they insisted on adding a 10% service “tax,” whatever you expect to pay. I consider it a hidden fee, since foreign tourists are exempt from actual hotel taxes. They wouldn’t budge and threatened to charge me if I cancelled. Other hotels in Peru don’t pull this kind of hidden fee. I regret booking here. There are better options everywhere else.

The small pool and nearby supermarket were nice conveniences, and the location made it easy to get to nearby attractions while still feeling peaceful and secure. I would’ve stayed longer without hesitation. Our room was spacious and in excellent condition, with a comfortable bed. The shower initially had no hot water, but the receptionist sorted it out promptly. Staff were consistently kind and helpful, including with directions and recommendations.

I loved the whole stay. The staff went out of their way to answer most of our questions. Golf Hotel is tucked away in one of Limas safest neighborhoods, with a very residential feel. That suits you if you’d rather be away from the businesses and tourism of Miraflores.

We stayed for over a week as part of the delegation for APEC Peru 2024, and really enjoyed the whole trip. Every staff member, from the front desk to the kitchen and cleaners, was wonderfully hospitable.
