Hotel Ferre Miraflores

I spent three nights here while traveling through Peru, two at the start of the trip and one before heading to the airport. The hotel itself was in good shape, but I can't recommend it because of what happened on that last night. At around 4 a.m., someone pounded on my door. I stayed quiet, then heard the door open with a key card. I shouted, and whoever it was left right away. My bed was around a corner, so I can't say if the person was hotel staff or someone else, which would be even worse. Either way, someone entering a guest's room at that hour doesn't seem to have good intentions. I wouldn't stay here for safety reasons.

A nice, quiet hotel for a perfect vacation.

Staff were friendly and accommodating, and handled whatever we needed as quickly as they could. They also gave us wonderful recommendations for tourist tours. The location worked well: Larcomar mall and the Pacific Ocean were about a 10 minute walk away, with a grocery store on the corner and a laundry cleaning facility just minutes away. Our room was clean, bright, and had a comfortable bed and pillows. The TV, refrigerator, and air-conditioning were a plus, and there was plenty of hot water. Breakfast was a varied buffet with yogurt, fruit juices, tea, coffee, cereals, fruit, nuts, breads, cheeses, and scrambled eggs.

We chose to have breakfast and really enjoyed it. There was coffee, tea, fresh fruit, eggs, and different breads, served with an ocean view from the 7th floor. Our room, 603, was basic but clean, and the shower had great pressure and nice hot water. We were also surprised at night by the giant lit-up cross south of Lima. The location was excellent, with a quick walk to everything, and we felt safe walking around. The hotel sits in a mixed residential area. Customer service was great. Thanks for a lovely stay.
