I first heard about this place through a Spotify playlist and made a point of visiting because of the meme. I didn’t expect it to feel so old-fashioned, classic, and traditional, with a Christian influence. These sorts of places seem rare now. It had the basics, including the square mirror facing the bed, a little soap, and half a roll of toilet paper. The visit itself felt like an experience, and I’d recommend it. Play the playlist in your room to set the mood.

Lima is a beautiful city, but it’s hectic, dirty, and disorganized.
