The inside of the hotel is all new and much improved. Abel, the manager, speaks Spanish and English and was very, very helpful. The staff were professional and helpful too. There are more details in the rest of the review.

It’s a simple budget hotel. The value for the money is okay.

I paid for a double room, but the plastic mattress was hard and painful to sleep on. I ended up with discomfort and cramps, and didn’t rest well. For what they charge, it just wasn’t worth it. The room was poorly lit, the building badly designed, and there wasn’t even a refrigerator. At rates of 120 to 150 soles, they should replace those plastic mattresses with comfortable ones. I found them harmful to customers’ health. A mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker would also make sense. Other hotels offer comfortable beds and room amenities, so this place doesn’t measure up. A bad experience.

The rooms were beautiful, and on my last visit I got excellent service. Very good, 9 out of 10.
