For the price, the service was poor, and nothing was done to resolve the problems beyond apologies and the staff's embarrassment. They seemed to be trying their best, but the room wasn't clean: the soap had already been used, there was hair in the shower, and I found a cockroach in the bathroom. The Wi-Fi and some lights didn't work, and there was no water the next morning for washing. I wouldn't consider staying here.

The little lady was a gem 💎. The building is historic and right on the plaza, so there’s nonstop noise, which adds to the atmosphere. The hotel itself is old and very dated, and the rooms and beds are basic. The bathroom was very clean, though, and the shower was hot 😁.

The rooms are neat and can have a great view over San Martín Square. You’re close to the main historic sights in Lima’s center. The downside is all the car horns.

Bring earplugs if you stay here. Outside noise was constant and really annoying, and the Wi-Fi didn't work in our room. Check-in was supposed to be at 12, but we arrived around 1 and still couldn't get into our room. I don't recommend it, don't waste your money.

Faded grandeur, and good value for clean rooms. The breakfast was one of those oddly minimal spreads Peruvian hotels seem to put out just to tease their guests.
