Hotel Nobility

We'd booked six months ahead, but when we gave the hotel our reservation reference, they said the booking had been cancelled while we were on our 12-hour flights. We asked if there was another room, only to be told they were fully booked. At 21:00, we had to find somewhere else to stay. Not a great start to the holiday.

The staff go out of their way to make you comfortable, and the service is outstanding. It's a beautiful place, and you can get to everything within a 20-minute walk without paying a high price. I love it here and highly recommend it.

When my girlfriend was due to leave a local hospital, I asked to extend our stay. At 8pm, I was told the room was extended, but that it would be easier and better to pay in the morning. I went down at 9am the next day and was told there was no extension and no availability. I then had to arrange everything for getting my girlfriend out of hospital, including insurance, a wheelchair, clothes, and flights home, while also packing our things and trying to work out where we could stay. Her hospital room ended at 12pm, and she couldn't go anywhere except a bedroom, which we no longer had. If they'd told me the night before, maybe I could have sorted something out. Reception didn't apologize or offer any help. They just kept saying, “no, there is no availability here.” The room was okay, though a little disappointing for a 4* hotel, and there was only live Peruvian TV. After the way the customer service left me in such a hole at an already stressful time, I'll never stay here again. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who might need anything from them.

The breakfast was pretty good, but the rooms were only mediocre and the service was absolutely terrible. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.
