Hotel Residencial Alfa

The room we got was nothing like the spacious one shown in the pictures sent to us before the trip. My wife, our 12-year-old daughter and I could barely move around in it, and there wasn't even a refrigerator. The beds were badly worn, and all three of us had back pain in the mornings. I have a bad back, so I'd strongly suggest staying elsewhere if you do too. Wi-Fi reception was hard to find despite being advertised. Breakfast was the same every day: cold scrambled eggs when I asked for an omelette or fried egg, and cereal but apparently no cold milk. The mattresses felt as old as I am.

The guy working there was so, so nice and kind, and I'm sure they'd treat guests well. I would recommend the hotel, but my iPhone couldn't use the Wi-Fi even though they had four lines, so I had to switch hotels. Shame I couldn't stay. I hope they find a solution for the Wi-Fi. Thanks so much!

The staff were so accommodating. One of the women spoke English and had family in my hometown, which made for a lovely connection while I was in another country.

I spent two days there with my pet, who needed to travel to Lima for health reasons. Everything went smoothly. The several staff members I met were all incredibly friendly, and the rooms, cleanliness and services were excellent.
