The bathrooms were horrible, and even though we booked a private room, we still had to share one. For the price, that wasn’t what we were promised. It’ll do for a night or two if you bring your own soap.

We got a very basic room with just bunk beds and a light, no wardrobe, fan, or air conditioning at all. The bathroom door was broken and could only be opened from outside. It was hard to deal with.

Karen was a really friendly host and knew a lot about the best places to see in Lima and how to get around. She gave us useful hints and tips for our Peru trip, especially about things we weren’t sure about.
