The hotel’s design was nice and the location was great, so it has a lot of potential. The breakfast was okay, but the rest of my stay was disappointing. I hope others have a better experience and that housekeeping improves. My room was very dirty when I arrived: a visible layer of mud on the bathroom floor, unknown substances on the headboard, dirt on the walls, and an uncleaned, unwiped shower. There was also a hole burned through the bed sheets. I’d been told they accepted credit cards, but they wouldn’t take my Amex or MasterCard. Then they overcharged me using the exchange rate.

The room has a musty smell and the exhaust fans don’t work, so it feels like a cave when you walk in. With the windows looking onto the courtyard and dining area, it’s hard to rest. Breakfast prep starts there at 6:00 am. There’s also drilling from the hotel renovations, which makes it impossible to nap. The many stairs inside are a problem for anyone with reduced mobility.

I wouldn’t recommend this place. People with reduced mobility should know there are too many stairs inside the rooms. The room smelled musty, the exhaust fans didn’t work, and walking in felt like entering a cave. Rest wasn’t possible for as long as I wanted: the windows face the courtyard and dining area, where they start moving tables and switching on juicers at 6:00 am to prepare breakfast, waking everyone. Napping or relaxing after lunch wasn’t an option either. Drilling from the hotel repairs was unbearable.

It’s a pleasant spot close to everything, with walking access to Larcomar shopping center and Kennedy Park for food. The hotel is very clean, though my room had a faint musty smell. The water pump makes quite a bit of noise, especially at night. Breakfast is okay but there isn’t much variety. Good value for money.
