Lima Wari Hotel Boutique

The staff are incredibly kind and attentive, the breakfast is outstanding, with fresh fruit, freshly squeezed juice, hot coffee, eggs, and more, and the rooms are super cute and absolutely pristine. There’s a free water fountain for guests, the showers are hot, and the hotel is really quiet. I’ve been traveling for three months, and this was one of my best stays in South America, maybe the best. I’d absolutely stay here again, 12/10!

The staff were always ready to help, and the hotel had a peaceful, laid-back feel. My room was huge, and I enjoyed my three nights here. I’d happily come back on another visit to Lima.

For about $30 USD a night, my room was a great deal for the area. The location in Barranco is hard to beat: it’s not right in the middle of everything, but you can walk to it all in around ten minutes. The building has character, and the staff are much warmer than what you get at big hotel chains. Breakfast is included and really good, with fresh fruit, fresh puree, coffee, and a choice of five egg dishes. The bathroom is shared, but it has a lockable door, and there’s another single-use bathroom too, so it doesn’t feel all that different from having one in your own room.

Our room was comfortable, spacious, and tidy, and the shared bathrooms were clean. The team were especially helpful when we needed to leave before breakfast, arranging food for us to take along. Barranco is a wonderful base, with cafes, restaurants, parks, cultural spots, and the ocean all a short walk away. The staff were lovely, and I’d absolutely recommend this place.
