AguaMar Vichayito

The beach is only a few meters away, and during my stay it felt almost like having it to myself. The water was clean, and people in the area were kind. I also loved how quiet it was, with no cars and just the wind in the trees when I woke up. Sleeping in a dome was a special experience, and there’s a small place to work out or do yoga. I found the place by chance while looking for Peru’s best beaches. The photos on Booking.com showed something unusual close to Vichayito, which is known as one of the country’s most beautiful beaches. I came for a short visit, then extended my stay several times because the calm made it easy to rest and get away from crowds and noise. The staff treated me like family. They made delicious local dishes and fresh juices to order, right in front of me, then came to let me know when everything was ready. It felt warm and special. This place deserves more attention. I spent much of my stay relaxing and strolling along the usually quiet beach, just a few steps away. Aguamar is surrounded by nature, and the rooms and domes fit into that setting in a way that adds to the calm. The service was excellent. The staff were attentive and ready to help make things comfortable. The property is a little secluded, which is part of its appeal. It isn’t a luxury resort packed with amenities, but a peaceful place to slow down and enjoy nature by the sea.

The domes at Aguamar have a lovely character and were comfortable and beautiful. Being so close to the beach meant I could hear the sea all the time. I especially liked the natural, green surroundings. It was a great place to get away from city noise and recharge, and I’d happily return.
