Hotel Playa Palmeras

The Nikkei ceviche was a letdown. It was much too acidic, and the fish still had silver skin that hadn’t been cut off properly, making it hard to chew. We only stopped by for a quick drink and some food, not an overnight stay. The whole area had recently been hit by a storm and was muddy and full of debris. That wasn’t the hotel’s fault, but the hotel was fairly empty. I’d spent over 100 soles on food and drinks, so given the circumstances and how vacant the area was, I thought a dip in the pool wouldn’t be a problem. They told me I needed to buy a day pass. Not a great experience, and I wouldn’t come back.
