We only planned on staying two nights at Casa Mancora, but liked it so much we ended up staying for two weeks. It's a peaceful, laid-back place, yet just five minutes from the beach and town center. The kitchen has everything you need, and I loved cooking there every day. The internet is incredibly fast, which is a luxury in Peru. Shared areas were kept clean, with help from the other guests, and the room was cleaned every two days. During our two-week stay they also came in between to clean and change the towels. The owner is very kind, always around to help, and gave us lots of suggestions for good places to eat and visit. He keeps the sitting area clear of mosquitoes with repellent coils each day. If you're staying longer, you can buy a 20 liter container of drinking water that he orders for you. We already miss the place and keep thinking about coming back. That probably says it all ☺️

A really nice, inexpensive hostel in a quiet part of mancora, with good facilities and a well-equipped kitchen. The shower has hot water, and it's a five-minute walk to the beach even though the hostel isn't right on it. The manager was helpful and very nice, and let us check out late. A great place to relax and enjoy mancora.

This was the mix I wanted in mancora: a social place that still feels peaceful and quiet. The guests were half foreigners and half Peruvians. There was a professional marathon runner, someone who did jiu jitsu, a bunch of amazing surfers, and even a bodybuilder and personal trainer. It isn't a party hostel, but we had lots of laughs, cooked together, and surfed together. Luis and Nacho made the place feel so welcoming and open, and everything was clean.

We loved staying here. The room was perfect and everything was so clean. The owner is incredibly nice and shared loads of information. One of the best hostels of our nine-month trip. Thanks!

A European backpacker couple, we spent three nights here and had everything we needed: towels, a comfortable bed and pillows, drinking water, fast wifi, hammocks, and a fully equipped kitchen. The shower in the shared area had hot water, and it was quiet at night. It's a short walk to the beach. The manager, "Luis," was incredibly friendly, helpful, and generous. Thanks again for everything!
