The beach is right outside, and you can get a room with an ocean view. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with towels and soap provided, so bring your own toiletries. The main road and boulevard are a short walk away, with restaurants, souvenir shopping, and a pleasant beach walk. The beach itself is very clean. Staff are lovely and always willing to help. The hotel and tours packages are much more convenient than arranging them separately, and the value and view are great for the price. Breakfast is included and starts at 8:30am. If your sailing tour leaves at 6am, they’ll give you snacks afterward to help avoid seasickness, so don’t expect breakfast at 6.

Every room has a beach view, and the hotel is right on the sand, but our stay was badly affected by the owner’s lack of regard for guests. During two of our five days, he started a huge construction project with buzzsaws, and paint seeped into the rooms. The hotel is also way overpriced for Mancora, which is rather run-down, and the area around it didn’t feel safe at night.
