Everything was spotless, and the breakfast had a good-sized, typical selection. I stayed one night as part of a tour. It’s a very new, modern hotel, better than three stars in my opinion, with large, well-appointed rooms around a huge central courtyard and pool.

The building is nice, the location is good, and the pool is pleasant. But the room wasn’t very large and had no coffee or water kettle, or even a bottle of water. When I asked at reception, I was told I’d have to buy water at the bar. The shower was clean, though it had a strange smell.

My room had no electricity or running water. Instead of water from a tap for washing, I was given a bucket of cold water. There were no facilities for washing or relaxing, and the breakfast was very poor. I could get better food at a supermarket. The entrance steps were covered in bird droppings, and the hotel was still being refurbished, more like a building site. The owners shouldn’t accept guests until the place is completely rebuilt. Tell the truth about the conditions. I expect a refund for this shoddy, disgraceful treatment. I should have slept in my car.

The hotel is closed for renovations, but the planetarium is open. You can book tickets there ten minutes before the show. The sky was cloudy, with some unusual rain, so we couldn’t look through the telescope. The video was very informative, and the presenter spoke very good English. The English show is at 7:30 pm, the French one at 6:30 pm, and the Spanish one at 8:30 pm.
