Juan is a lovely host who speaks a million languages and really looks after you. The rooms are tidy and the location is just right. I’d definitely recommend one of his tours, he knows a lot about Nasca and its archeological history.

The place has moved to new management, and the staff couldn’t speak English. I also didn’t like how a tour was sold to me. It was 80sol yesterday, but staff said it was 100sol today because it included sand boarding. That wasn’t true: I took the tour today for 80sol, with sand boarding included. The dishonesty bothered me. It’s family-run, and the host speaks English after living in the UK and Germany. The room was spacious and clean, with a hot shower. Breakfast is available for 18sol.

We stayed just one night in the large room with three beds, and splitting the price three ways made it excellent value. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless, and you can get water at reception for the same price as in town. The people running Hostel Nazca Trails were attentive, kind, and friendly, so the stay felt safe and welcoming. I’d absolutely recommend it.

We did two separate private tours with Juan, and both were great value and just right. He knows his stuff, and the tours were a highlight of our time in nazca. He’s a lovely, friendly, accommodating person and speaks fluent English. We had a wonderful stay with him. All the best to you and your family.

It’s a short walk from the main Plaza, and I’m glad we stayed away from the Plaza itself since it would have been noisier. The room was fairly quiet, though traffic and the occasional honk still came through, as seems hard to avoid anywhere in Peru. Juan was kind and caring, and his English was perfect. Our room was clean, with a hot shower and good water pressure. We arranged the Nazca flight tour with him in advance, and it was good value and hassle-free. They were short staffed, so breakfast wasn’t available, though it would have cost extra anyway. Juan suggested Farita’s near the Plaza, where we got good egg sandwiches for 3 soles. We were very pleased with our stay, and I don’t think you can find much better accommodation in Nasca.
