Casa Hacienda Nasca Oasis

The restaurant serves food throughout the day and is accommodating. The staff were attentive and friendly, and our huge room had plenty of hot water. There’s a clean, inviting pool, plus lots of shaded seating for people like me who burn easily. I didn’t expect such a peaceful green oasis in this less glamorous part of Nazca, but it was a really pleasant place to stay.

After a long day of travel, we really appreciated the enormous comfortable bed and all the space in our room. The patio pool was a nice place to unwind, framed by flowering trees like bougainvillea. We also ate at the hotel restaurant and loved the food. The staff there were exceptionally friendly. We loved staying here.

The pool was great, and the setting felt peaceful. Breakfast, or desayuno, was about a 3.6 out of 5, neither good nor terrible. But there was a party at a stage behind the hotel, and the noise kept me awake all night. Hotel staff told me nothing could be done about it.

The rooms even smelled of roses, and the hotel has a royal sort of atmosphere. We were wary after reading some bad reviews, but this clean, beautiful place turned out to be a gem in the desert. The rooms were very spacious, and the huge bathroom was spotless. We wished we’d had longer here. Breakfast was simple, but good and filling, not extravagant. Breakfast is the only meal served here. We travel a lot and don’t recommend many hotels, but this is one we’d happily recommend.
