Residencial Panorama

We had a terrible stay. The room was below street level, had no outside windows, and smelled damp. There was mold throughout the bathroom. More than once, we were left waiting outside for as long as 15 minutes because the front door was locked and nobody was home.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and the place itself is nice, but the manager seemed uninterested and reluctant to help. I only had two small towels, and when I asked for more, she looked displeased. Breakfast for two was just four rolls that seemed about three days old, three little balls of butter, and a bit of jam. The cable TV we paid for never worked. When I asked about it, a boy around eight to ten years old answered. I asked when his mother, the manager, would be back, and he didn't know. I didn't think much of it then, but when I returned around 8:30 to 9:00 PM, he was still there alone, which really upset me. I hope the manager's service improves, because the place has a lot of space and is quite nice.

Breakfast is served by the top-floor windows, with a breathtaking view. Casa Panorama Cusco is a stylishly furnished three-story house on a hill, about a 10-minute walk from the historic center. Its 12 rooms and shared spaces are all nicely decorated, and a very kind family runs the place.

Mrs. Augusta was very kind and treated us warmly and attentively on our first day. The rooms and beds were large and clean, but the manager after that seemed apathetic and unwilling to help. When we asked for more towels, since we only had two small ones, she looked displeased. Breakfast was poor: four cold, stale rolls that were almost inedible, three small balls of butter, and some jam. We asked at check-in about the listed services, including cable TV, but there was no cable, so we paid for something that wasn't there. When we went to ask about it, a child around eight to ten was left in charge. At first we didn't think much of it, but a few hours later he was still alone, and it seemed he'd been there by himself practically all day. That was upsetting, and we hope it doesn't happen again. We're very disappointed with the service overall and hope it improves.
