The family hosting us made us feel so welcome and were very accommodating. They even kept our bags while we went to Machu Picchu. The rooms at Casa Ink B&B were spacious and clean, and the breakfast was fantastic, with eggs made how you like them, fresh fruit, avocado, and bread. It felt like a home, and I’d love to come back. There was roadwork on the only block leading to the B&B during our stay, so we had to walk and carry our luggage. That wasn’t the hosts’ fault, and the workers were friendly. They seemed to be moving quickly, so I expect the work will be finished soon. I’m mentioning it in case future guests have accessibility needs, since they may want to check with the property about the road.

The cats were a big hit with our three kids. They were sweet and friendly. We also enjoyed sitting in the chairs outside our room and relaxing, and breakfast each morning was delicious and filling. Our family of five stayed in the family suite, which sleeps up to six and had plenty of space. The hotel has a lot of character, with lovely landscaping and staff. Bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper, since town celebrations can carry on late into the night. That seemed pretty normal throughout our trip in Perú.

The hosts were warm and helpful, and we managed to communicate well with hand gestures and Google Translate despite our limited Spanish. Breakfast was simple, but among the tastiest we had on our trip: fruit, avocado, juice, coffee, bread, and eggs cooked fresh on request. We stayed two nights. The room was clean and well cared for, and the valley view from the window was a real highlight. The water got pleasantly warm after a short wait. The beds felt a little too firm for us, though that’s personal preference. There are friendly cats and a dog on the property, so it may not suit you if you have allergies or don’t like pets. Otherwise, I’d recommend it.

Breakfast was freshly made and a lovely start to the day. The room was clean, comfortable, and set up with what we needed, while the whole place felt inviting and more like a home than a hotel. We felt cared for from the moment we arrived. The hosts were kind, attentive, and glad to help, which made the stay feel personal and relaxed. It was warm and comfortable, good value, and we’d happily come back or recommend it to someone looking for a peaceful place.

Even though flight delays meant I arrived very late, the hosts were gracious. The free breakfast was waiting for me when I reached the dining room, and the spread and service were a pleasant surprise. The thick, comfortable wool duvets were fantastic too. Casa Inka is just beyond Ollantaytambo’s main square. My room was cozy and just right for a quick stop, and the B&B is well kept. I thought it was excellent value and would recommend it.
